of <h1>GST 18% from 22 September 2025 on discs, tapes, SSDs, smart cards and recording media under Schedule II</h1> From 22 September 2025, goods comprised of discs, tapes, solid-state non-volatile storage devices, smart cards and other media for recording sound or other phenomena, including matrices and masters for disc production but excluding goods covered by Chapter 37, are subject to GST at 18% under Schedule II. This rate applies to the listed recording media as classified for taxation purposes effective that date.
