of <h1>Schedule II weaving machines taxed at 18% GST from 22 September 2025; IGST rate aligned from 17 September 2025</h1> With effect from 22 September 2025, weaving machines (looms) listed in Schedule II are subject to GST at 18%; a corresponding IGST rate notification issued on 17 September 2025 takes effect from the same date. The schedule entry fixes the applicable central tax rate for these capital goods used in textile weaving, aligning GST treatment and cross-referencing the IGST rate change for inter-state supplies.
