GST rate change on iron and steel scouring and polishing products now applies under Schedule II classification. Imposition of GST under Schedule II applies to iron or steel wool; pot scourers and scouring or polishing pads, gloves and the like, of iron or steel, with an express exclusion for milk cans made of iron or steel, by notification amending IGST rates and specifying the effective date for the rate and classification change.
