GST rate on iron bars and rods revised; new taxable rate applies under Notification for supplies from the effective date. All bars and rods of iron or non alloy steel are subject to GST at 18% with effect from 22-09-2025, pursuant to Notification No. 09/2025 - IGST(Rate) dated 17.09.2025; the classification and levy are reflected under Schedule II for supplies made on or after that effective date.
