of <h1>GST 18% applies to vegetable parchment, tracing and glazed transparent/translucent papers (Schedule II, item 4806) from 22 September 2025</h1> Vegetable parchment, tracing papers and other glazed transparent or translucent papers, in rolls or sheets, are classified under Schedule II item 4806 and attract GST at 18% with effect from 22 September 2025. The rate change is implemented effective that date pursuant to the relevant government notification issued on 17 September 2025, bringing these paper products within the specified 18% taxable bracket.
