of <h1>From 22 Sept 2025, doped electronic discs and wafers (excluding silicon) reclassified to Schedule II; GST/IGST 18%</h1> From 22 September 2025, goods described as chemical elements or compounds doped for use in electronics, presented in the form of discs, wafers or similar forms, are classified under Schedule II and subject to GST at 18%; the classification expressly excludes silicon wafers. The change takes effect pursuant to the implementing notification issued 17 September 2025, applying the revised IGST rate from the stated effective date.
