GST rate for sauces and condiments revised, applying a lower taxable rate from the notified effective date. Specified edible goods, including sauces, mixed condiments and seasonings, mustard flour and prepared mustard, curry paste, mayonnaise and salad dressings, have been placed in Schedule I and attract GST at 5% with effect from 22-09-2025 by the cited rate notification.
