The Schedule defines the Section's scope and exclusions, prescribes classification rules for parts, composite and multi-component machines-allocating parts to machine headings when solely or principally used therewith and classifying composite machines by principal or clearly defined function-and offers detailed definitional and precedence rules for electrical categories (including electrical and electronic waste, semiconductors, LEDs, flat panel display modules and storage devices). It lists tariffs with export policy entries, largely permitting export as 'Free', but expressly prohibits export of electronic cigarettes and related devices and components except products licensed under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act.
