Free export policy treatment applies to listed railway and tramway locomotives, rolling-stock, service vehicles, passenger coaches, goods vans and wagons, related parts, track fixtures, and mechanical traffic-control equipment. Parts must be suitable solely or principally for the relevant transport articles, with principal use governing classification where multiple headings apply. Railway classifications exclude specified sleepers, iron or steel track material, and electrical signalling equipment classified elsewhere. Specially designed multimodal containers, including refrigerated and other containers, also receive free export treatment.
