        <h1>Export controls on marine species: shark fins banned; listed species require restricted export authorisation and size based restrictions apply.</h1> Export policy for Chapter 03 of ITC(HS) 2022 designates most fish and aquatic invertebrate tariff lines as Free but imposes categorical prohibitions and restricted conditions. Definitions include undersized consignments and 'as tail.' Exports of wild species listed under the Wild Life (Protection) Act or CITES are prohibited or allowed only against a Restricted Export Authorisation. Shark fins are expressly prohibited. Specific lobster species carry size based non permissibility and exports of silver pomfret below a specified weight require Restricted Export Authorisation.
