of <h1>Tax Alert: Knives with Cutting Blades Subject to 18% IGST or 9% CGST and 9% SGST/UTGST</h1> Goods such as knives with cutting blades, whether serrated or not, including pruning knives but excluding those under heading 8208, are subject to a tax rate of IGST at 18% or a combination of CGST at 9% and SGST/UTGST at 9%. This tax rate was established through Notification No. 6/2022-Integrated Tax (Rate) and became effective from July 18, 2022.
