of <h1>Percussion Instruments Taxed at 18% GST Under Schedule 3; Includes Drums, Xylophones, and More, per Notification 43/2017.</h1> Percussion musical instruments, such as drums, xylophones, cymbals, castanets, and maracas, are subject to a Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate under Schedule 3. The applicable Integrated GST (IGST) is 18%, or alternatively, a combination of Central GST (CGST) at 9% and State GST (SGST) or Union Territory GST (UTGST) at 9%. This tax rate was established by notification no. 43/2017, effective from November 15, 2017.
