of <h1>Electrical Signaling and Safety Equipment Taxed at 18% IGST or 9% CGST/SGST Under Notification No. 43/2017</h1> Goods classified under electrical signaling, safety, or traffic control equipment for railways, tramways, roads, inland waterways, parking facilities, port installations, or airfields are subject to a tax rate of 18% under IGST or a combined rate of 9% CGST and 9% SGST/UTGST. This classification excludes items specified under heading 8608. These rates were established by notification no. 43/2017, effective from November 15, 2017.
