of <h1>Ramakrishna Mission College Gains Income Tax Exemption for Social Science Research Funds Under Section 35(1)(iii)</h1> The Ramakrishna Mission, Vivekananda College, Madras, has been approved by the Indian Council of Social Science Research under section 35(1)(iii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, as per Notification No. S.O.2744 dated 3-9-1981. This approval allows the institution to collect funds exempt from income tax, provided these funds are used exclusively for social science research. The Mission must maintain separate accounts for these funds and submit annual reports and audited statements to the Council. This approval is valid from April 1, 1980, to March 31, 1983.
