of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy amended: VKGUY, FMS, FPS benefits claimable by supporting manufacturers with exchange realization disclaimer.</h1> The Central Government has amended the Foreign Trade Policy, allowing benefits under VKGUY, FMS, and FPS to be claimed by either the supporting manufacturer or the company/firm that directly realized foreign exchange from overseas. This amendment, issued under the powers conferred by the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, adds a sentence to paragraph 3.12.8 of the policy. The supporting manufacturer must have a disclaimer from the company/firm that realized the foreign exchange. This change is made in the public interest and is documented in Notification No. 31/(RE-2008)/2004-09, dated August 19, 2008.
