of <h1>Central Government Approves 1.8563 Hectares Expansion for IT SEZ Under SEZ Act, 2005</h1> The Central Government has approved an additional area of 1.8563 hectares to be included in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Information Technology and IT Enabled Services at Kusumagiri, Village Kakkanad, Ernakulam, Kerala. This follows the proposal by a private organization under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The notification, which supplements the initial notification dated 28th September 2006, details the specific survey numbers and areas comprising the additional land. The total area of the SEZ now stands at 32.6246 hectares, following the inclusion of these new plots.
