Raheja Universal Private Limited, a private organization in Maharashtra, has been granted approval to establish a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Information Technology and IT Enabled Services at Raheja Infocity-I, located in the Trans-Thane Creek Industrial Area, Navi Mumbai. The Central Government, satisfied with the compliance of the requirements under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, has officially notified the designated area, comprising various survey numbers in the villages of Kukshet and Shirvane, totaling 20.654 hectares, as an SEZ.
