<h1>Government De-notifies 10.13 Hectares of IT SEZ in Thane, Maharashtra, Following Developer's Proposal</h1> The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has de-notified a portion of a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) designated for information technology and IT-enabled services at Raheja Infocity in Thane, Maharashtra. Initially notified in 2007, the SEZ covered 20.654 hectares. Following a proposal by M/s. K. Raheja Universal Private Limited, the Central Government approved the de-notification of 10.13 hectares, reducing the SEZ to 10.52 hectares. This decision complies with the requirements of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, and the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006. The de-notified area comprises specific survey numbers in the villages of Kukshet and Shirvane.
