of <h1>Mahaveer Skyscrapers' IT SEZ in Chevella, Andhra Pradesh, approved; covers 22.78 hectares; partial de-notification in 2019.</h1> Mahaveer Skyscrapers Limited, a private organization in Andhra Pradesh, proposed to establish a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Information Technology and IT Enabled Services at Chevella Village, Ranga Reddy District, under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The Central Government, satisfied with the compliance of necessary requirements, granted approval on October 25, 2006. Consequently, the area at Chevella Village, detailed by specific survey numbers, has been officially notified as an SEZ, covering a total of 22.78 hectares. Certain areas were de-notified as per Notification No. S.O. 2874(E) dated August 6, 2019.
