<h1>Central Government Rescinds SEZ Notification at Chevella Village, Telangana; Area De-notified with State Approval.</h1> The Central Government has rescinded Notification Number S.O. 919(E) dated 6th June 2007, concerning the establishment of a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) by a company at Chevella Village, Ranga Reddy District, Andhra Pradesh. Initially notified for IT/ITES over 22.78 hectares, the company has proposed to de-notify the entire area. The State Government of Telangana and the Development Commissioner of Visakhapatnam SEZ have approved this proposal. The rescission is executed under the powers of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, retaining validity for actions taken prior to this rescission.
