Project eligibility under section 35AC: specification extended for a charitable eye hospital following statutory recommendation. Specification under the Explanation to Section 35AC recognizes the Poona Blind Men's Association's 50 bed eye hospital at Mohammedwadi as an eligible project for tax incentive purposes and extends that specification for a further three year period beginning with the relevant assessment year, following a National Committee recommendation that the project was being properly executed and pursuant to the powers vested by the Explanation to Section 35AC of the Income tax Act, 1961.
