of <h1>Govt Extends Tax Exemption for Gujarat Technical School Project u/s 35AC for Three More Years.</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the project for constructing, equipping, and running a technical school in Village Sola, Tal. Daskroi, District Ahmedabad, Gujarat, managed by a local trust, as an eligible project under Section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially recognized in 1995, the project received extensions in 1997 and 2000. Due to its proper execution, the National Committee recommended another extension for three years starting from the assessment year 2004-2005. The project is estimated to cost one crore rupees and continues to qualify for tax exemptions.
