of <h1>Notification 45/2008-Cus.(N.T) sets new currency exchange rates for imports/exports, effective June 1, 2008.</h1> Notification No. 45/2008-Cus.(N.T), dated May 28, 2008, issued by the Central Board of Excise and Customs, establishes the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian rupees for imported and exported goods, effective June 1, 2008. This notification supersedes the previous Notification No. 39/2008-CUSTOMS (N.T.), dated April 28, 2008. The exchange rates are detailed in two schedules: Schedule I lists rates for one unit of foreign currency, and Schedule II lists rates for 100 units of foreign currency. This notification was later rescinded by Notification No. 79/2008 Cus (NT) on June 25, 2008.
