of <h1>New Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies in India Effective April 1, 2008 Under Customs Act Notification No. 32/2008-Cus.</h1> Notification No. 32/2008-Cus.(N.T.), dated March 27, 2008, issued by the Central Board of Excise and Customs under the Customs Act, 1962, establishes the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian rupees for import and export purposes effective April 1, 2008. The notification supersedes previous notifications No. 10/2008 and No. 29/2008. The exchange rates are detailed for various currencies, including the Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Euro, Pound Sterling, and US Dollar, among others, with separate rates for imported and exported goods. The Japanese Yen is listed in a separate schedule for conversion of 100 units.
