of <h1>India Rescinds Anti-Dumping Duties on Chinese Compact Fluorescent Lamps Under Customs Tariff Act, 1975</h1> The Government of India has rescinded Notification No. 7/2006-Customs, dated February 13, 2006, which imposed anti-dumping duties on compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) from a specified company in China. This action, effective from December 18, 2007, is executed under the authority of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, and relevant rules concerning anti-dumping duties. The rescission does not affect actions or omissions made under the previous notification prior to this change. The decision allows the specified Chinese company to receive provisional assessment benefits.
