Initially specified for one year starting from the 2004-2005 assessment year, the project is expected to extend beyond this period. The National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare has recommended extending the project's eligibility for an additional two years, maintaining the approved cost of Rs. 159.24 lakhs. This extension is effective from the financial year 2004-2005.
