India Ends Anti-Dumping Duty on Partially Oriented Yarn Imports from Korea and Turkey Under Customs Tariff Act, 1975.
The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has rescinded the anti-dumping duty on imports of partially oriented yarn (POY) from the Republic of Korea and Turkey. This decision follows a review by the designated authority, which concluded that there is no justification for continuing the duty. The anti-dumping duty was initially imposed in 2002 and extended until December 2007. The rescission is effective immediately, except for actions taken prior to this notification. This change is enacted under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, and relevant rules.
