<h1>India Eases Export Rules for Antler Shavings and Goods Until September 2009, Chapter 5 Amended</h1> The Central Government has amended the ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import Items for 2004-09, specifically Chapter 5. The amendment relaxes conditions for exporting shavings of shed antlers of Chital and Sambhar, and manufactured articles from these materials, until September 30, 2009. Registered exporters can send free trade samples, each weighing no more than 5 kg, to foreign buyers, with restrictions on sale and limited to one sample per destination. This provision is effective for 45 days from the notification date, issued in the public interest by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
