Amendment canalises onion exports by restricting Bangalore rose onion exports to a designated state export corporation for a limited monthly quantity and short period, and by authorising exports of other specified onion varieties through the national agricultural cooperative agency to two named overseas destinations until a prescribed cut-off date, thereby imposing agency specific, varietal and time bound export controls under the Export-Import Policy.
