of <h1>India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duty on Peroxosulphates from China and Japan to Protect Domestic Industry</h1> The Government of India imposed an anti-dumping duty on the import of Peroxosulphates, also known as Persulphates, from China and Japan, effective until September 18, 2007. This decision followed findings that these imports were priced below normal values, causing material injury to the domestic industry. The duty rates were set at $414 per metric ton for imports from China and $203 per metric ton for imports from Japan. These duties were intended to protect the domestic market from unfair pricing practices by foreign exporters. The duty would be payable in Indian currency, with exchange rates determined by the Ministry of Finance.
