of <h1>India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duty on Chinese Sodium Hydrosulphite to Protect Domestic Industry; Notification No. 114/2001-Customs</h1> The Government of India imposed an anti-dumping duty on Sodium Hydrosulphite imported from China, as per Notification No. 114/2001-Customs dated November 2, 2001. This decision followed findings that the chemical was being dumped in India at below-normal value, causing material injury to the domestic industry. The duty, effective from March 12, 2001, is set at $216.33 per metric tonne for Guangdong Zhongcheng Chemicals Co. Ltd. and $294.17 for all other exporters. The duty is payable in Indian currency, with exchange rates determined by relevant notifications from the Ministry of Finance.
