This follows findings that these imports were dumped below normal value, causing injury to the Indian industry. The Customs, Excise, and Gold (Control) Appellate Tribunal amended the duty rates, and the Central Government has now set specific duties per metric tonne for each type of alcohol from the listed countries, payable in Indian currency.
