<h1>India Grants Customs Duty Exemptions for Copper Products from Toll Processing Until March 2026.</h1> The Central Government of India has issued Notification No. 24/2001-Customs, effective from March 1, 2001, granting exemptions on customs, additional, and special duties for copper cathodes, wire bars, and wire rods produced from copper reverts exported for toll smelting or processing. These exemptions apply if the imports occur within one year of export and sufficient evidence is provided that the imports result from toll processing. The exemptions are calculated based on toll processing costs, including labor, material, and other charges, as well as insurance and freight charges. This notification is valid until March 31, 2026.
