of <h1>India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duty on Polyester Film Imports from UAE and Chinese Taipei to Protect Domestic Industry</h1> The Central Government of India has imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of Sun and/or Dust Control Polyester Film from the United Arab Emirates and Chinese Taipei. This decision follows findings that these imports were being sold in India below normal value, causing material injury to the domestic industry. The duty, effective from August 26, 2003, aims to counteract the dumping effects and is calculated based on the difference between a specified amount and the landed value of the goods. The duty will remain in force until August 25, 2009, unless revoked earlier.
