of <h1>India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duties on Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber Imports from EU, Brazil, and Mexico to Protect Domestic Industry.</h1> The Central Government of India has imposed definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) in bale form from the European Union (excluding Germany), Brazil, and Mexico. These duties follow findings that imports from these regions entered the Indian market at below normal value, causing material injury to the domestic industry through loss of market share and reduced profitability. The duties, effective from June 7, 2005, are specified per metric tonne and vary depending on the country of origin and exporter. The applicable exchange rate for duty calculation is determined by the Government of India's notifications.
