of <h1>Customs Act Update: New and Modified Tariff Entries for Goods, Machinery Parts, and More Effective January 1, 2007.</h1> Notification No. 131/2006-Customs, dated December 30, 2006, amends Notification No. 85/2004-Customs, dated August 31, 2004, under the Customs Act, 1962. The amendments introduce new entries and modify or omit existing ones in the tariff table. Notable changes include the addition of S. No. 22A for goods under code 3907 70 00, modifications to S. No. 27 regarding bamboo plywood, and new entries for machinery parts and industrial vacuum cleaners. Several entries, such as S. No. 33A, 34A, and 35A, are omitted. The notification is effective from January 1, 2007.
