of <h1>India Extends Anti-Dumping Duties on White Cement from UAE and Iran per Notification No. 50/2006-Customs</h1> The Government of India has issued Notification No. 50/2006-Customs, dated May 29, 2006, announcing the continuation of anti-dumping duties on White Cement originating from the United Arab Emirates and Iran. This follows a sunset review initiated by the designated authority, which recommended extending the duty for an additional year while the review is pending. The anti-dumping duty, originally imposed by Notification No. 99/2001-Customs, will remain effective until June 13, 2007. This measure is enacted under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, and relevant rules to prevent injury from dumped imports.
