<h1>India Amends Customs Notification to Include Yemen in Duty Free Tariff Preference Scheme for Least Developed Countries</h1> The Government of India has issued Notification No. 19/2013-Customs, amending Notification No. 96/2008-Customs, to include the Republic of Yemen in the list of Least Developed Countries eligible for the Duty Free Tariff Preference (DFTP) scheme. This amendment, made under the powers conferred by the Customs Act, 1962, is deemed necessary in the public interest. The change adds Yemen as serial number 30 in the schedule of eligible countries, allowing it to benefit from duty-free tariff preferences. This notification was published in the Gazette of India on April 2, 2013.
