of <h1>Ojhar in Maharashtra added for defense unloading/loading in amended Customs Notification No. 61/1994 under Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Government of India has amended Customs Notification No. 61/1994 to include new provisions for the state of Maharashtra. Specifically, Ojhar is now designated for unloading and loading activities related to defense personnel and goods associated with the Ministry of Defence. This includes the unloading of defense personnel's baggage and imported goods for the Ministry, as well as the loading of defense personnel's baggage and export goods for the Ministry. This amendment is enacted under the Customs Act, 1962, and follows previous amendments made in January 2013.
