of <h1>Centre for Rehabilitation and Development, Chitrakoot Project Extended Under Section 35AC for 2012-2015; Supporting Disabled Individuals</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the 'Centre for Rehabilitation and Development, Chitrakoot, UP' project, managed by Jagadguru Rambhadracharya Handicapped University, as an eligible project under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially approved for three years starting 2006-2007 and extended in 2009, the project will now continue for another three years from the financial year 2012-13 to 2014-15. The project, with an approved cost of Rs. 30 crore, including a Rs. 10 crore corpus fund, is recognized for its contribution to the relief and rehabilitation of disabled individuals.
