This project, initially recognized in 1994, has been extended multiple times, with the latest extension covering the financial years 2012-13 to 2014-15. The approved project cost remains at Rs. 54 lakh. The National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare recommended this extension, acknowledging the project's proper execution and its continuation beyond eighteen years.
