of <h1>Export Conditions Updated: Handicraft Restrictions Start 2013, Silk Section Removed, Woolen Carpets Unchanged with Guarantee Requirement</h1> The notification amends the conditions for exporting carpets, handicraft items, and silk items as per Notification No. 5 dated 02.07.2012. The amendment specifies that the restrictions on exporting handicraft items (S. No. 8B) will be effective from January 1, 2013. The section concerning silk garments, made-ups, fabrics, and accessories (S. No. 8C) is deleted. There are no changes to the export conditions for handmade woolen carpets and related items (S. No. 8A), which remain free but require a bank or ECGC guarantee unless exported to subsidiaries or trading companies.
