Anti-dumping duty extension preserves measures on white cement imports from specified countries for an additional year. The Central Government amends Notification No. 56/2007 Customs to extend the anti dumping duty on imports of White Cement from specified countries for one additional year. The extension is made under the statutory continuation review mechanism initiated by the designated authority and enacted pursuant to the powers under the Customs Tariff Act and rule 23 of the anti dumping rules, by inserting a provision that the notification shall remain in force for the further one year period unless revoked earlier.
