of <h1>India Amends Policy to Export 10,000 Tons of Non-Basmati Rice to Kenya, Somalia, and Djibouti at FCI Rates</h1> The Government of India has amended previous notifications to permit the export of 10,000 tons of non-Basmati rice to the Horn of Africa, specifically Kenya, Somalia, and Djibouti. This export will be conducted from the Central Pool Stock of the Food Corporation of India (FCI) at an economic cost of Rs. 20,689.50 per ton. This amendment is made under the Foreign Trade Policy 2009-2014, as per the powers conferred by the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992.
