Effective from October 1, 2011, the export of these items is classified as 'free,' meaning no restrictions apply. Additionally, registration of contracts for exporting cotton waste is no longer required. This amendment is made under the authority of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, and the Foreign Trade Policy 2009-14.
