Initially approved for three years starting in the 2005-06 financial year and extended in 2008, the project will now continue for an additional three years from 2011-12 to 2013-14. The project, recognized for its proper execution, maintains an approved cost of Rs. 49.48 crore. This decision follows the recommendation of the National Committee for the Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare.
