of <h1>Iskcon Food Relief's Mid-Day Meal Project in Delhi Extended for 3 Years, Funding Raised Under Section 35AC.</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the Iskcon Food Relief Foundation's project, 'Providing mid-day meal to 50,000 school-students in Delhi,' for an additional three years starting from the financial year 2011-12. Initially notified in 2005 and extended in 2008, the project has been recognized for its proper execution. The maximum allowable project cost under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act has been increased from Rs. 10.73 crore to Rs. 27.16 crore, including a corpus fund of Rs. 10 crore. This notification amends the previous notification dated 25th May 2005.
