of <h1>India Exempts 10,000 Metric Tons of Organic Sugar from Release Order for Export, Effective Immediately</h1> The Government of India has issued a notification exempting the export of 10,000 metric tons of organic sugar from the requirement of obtaining a release order from the Chief Director of Sugar. This exemption is part of the Foreign Trade Policy 2009-2014 and is effective immediately. The organic sugar must be certified by APEDA, and export contracts should be registered with APEDA, New Delhi, before shipment. Exports are permitted only from Customs EDI Ports. This measure aims to facilitate the export of organic sugar while maintaining a specific annual quantity limit and ensuring compliance with certification and registration requirements.
