of <h1>Central Government Extends Biotechnology Project Eligibility in Pune Under Section 35AC for Three More Years</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the 'Sustainable development through biotechnology' project by Vidya Pratishthan, located in Pune, Maharashtra, under Section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially approved for three years starting in the financial year 2005-2006 and extended in 2008, the project is now further extended for another three years beginning in the financial year 2011-2012. The project will continue with the approved cost of Rs. 13.94 crore, following a recommendation by the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare.
