Section 35AC extension: eligible scheme period extended and maximum project cost and corpus fund ceilings increased. The Central Government, under the Explanation to section 35AC, notifies the 'Madhav Vidhyapith' residential school for tribal students as an eligible project for a further three year period, directs that no certificate be issued for the already lapsed year, and amends the earlier notification to increase the maximum allowable project cost by expressly including a corpus fund within that ceiling as recommended by the National Committee.
